Jonathan

Jonathan

Center Director
Jonathan has been with Mathnasium since 2017. Jonathan graduated from CSUN with a degree in Mathematics. He originally entered CSUN as a sociology major, but he discovered a passion for mathematics while taking a statistics class required for sociology. Jonathan also tutors for the Developmental Math Program at CSUN. He enjoys recognizing the "aha" moment in students and will work his hardest to ensure they get there! Jonathan is a Mathnasium Method expert and is highly regarded as one of Mathnasium's best Center Directors.

What I love about Mathnasium: I love seeing students gain more confidence with math as they progress through their customized learning plans. It is very rewarding as an instructor to see a student be in the "zone" when they're comfortably solving math problems that were initially hard for them.

Hobbies & Interests: I love to swim, listen to music, and experiment with electronics and breadboarding. I enjoy participating in math tournaments and olympiads. As the president of my own club, Youth Mock Entrepreneurs, I enjoy using my math skills to determine profit margins and ROIs.

What I love about Mathnasium: I love that Mathnasium teaches students new perspectives on math and how it is fundamental to our lives. It uses intuitive teaching strategies to give students a proper understanding.
