Outside of Mathnasium, Carrie is a mother to three active boys, she is serving on the Board of Trustees at the Abington Public Library and plays tennis at the YMCA in Hanover. She is a big fan of the Boston sports teams and loves visiting Cape Cod.

Francine C.

Regional Director
After spending over a decade in the non-profit world, Francine recently joined the Mathnasium family where she serves as Center Director for Mathnasium of Hanover. Math has always been one of her favorite subjects and she enjoys helping others foster confidence and develop new skills and a passion for Math. After her own experience as a mom seeking help for her 4th grader, Francine found Mathnasium and admits that her life and daughter's feelings towards math have since changed drastically. Working for Mathnasium has allowed her to bring together two of her passions: Math, and service to others. When she first became exposed to the Mathnasium method, she was amazed to see how much easier it was to follow and explain. Francine has enjoyed watching her own children grow in their love for Math and is looking forward to witnessing the magic with more children. Her favorite part of being a part of the Mathnasium team is greeting students and families as they walk in, excited to tackle a new challenge. A mother of three active girls, Francine enjoys learning about various cultures, cooking, exercising, and dancing.

Joy is a senior at Norwell High School where she has been part of the Math Team and the Robotics Team. Math has always been her strong suit since she was a kid, and she is glad to share her enjoyment of it with the students! She hopes to study Mechanical Engineering in college and use math for practical purposes in the future. When she isn’t teaching at Mathnasium, she is probably playing or watching tennis. She also enjoys playing videos games in her free time. Joy is excited to work with all the students at Mathnasium and looks forward to meeting everyone!

Reese J.

Lead Instructor
Reese is a recent graduate of Norwell High School, Reese has always claimed one subject as her favorite subject: math. She is currently a junior in college. As a Mathnasium lead instructor for many years, Reese has enjoyed helping and motivating students to learn efficient ways to solve problems and grow confidence in their critical thinking abilities. As an avid math student and a helpful classmate, Reese has been tasked by teachers to help explain mathematical concepts to peers throughout middle and high school. Now, Reese enjoys helping Mathnasium students develop a grasp and love of math to match her own. Outside of Mathnasium, Reese enjoys soccer, swimming, and playing tennis. She is the President of a club: Norwell for South Sudan, a captain in soccer, a member of the math club, and an active participant in her Church youth group.

Aldin O.

Aldin is a junior at Norwell High School, taking a special interest in math, statistics, and computer science. He has always found a love for math in school, and has started to explore math outside of school with the start of high school. Aldin often helps his friends with their math classes, as well as chemistry and physics topics. Besides math, Aldin enjoys Concert performance, playing flute and alto saxophone, and classics, and is enrolled in AP Latin. He is a member of Tri-M Music Honor Society.

Matt B.

Instructor
Matt is a Junior at Hanover High School where he has excelled in all math courses through AP Precalculus, which he is taking now. At Hanover High, Matt is a member of the Math team and the president of the Board Game Club, so he is passionate about both math and game time. Ever since he was young, he has had a love for math; at Mathnasium, he hopes to pass on this love and inspire the next generation of problem-solvers and analytical thinkers. Outside of that, Matt plays soccer and rugby for his school. If he's not here at Mathnasium, he's probably somewhere listening to music.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
