Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Zach Spawn

Center Director
We're thrilled to introduce you to Zach Spawn, our new Center Director! We'll be updating Zach's bio soon, but want to let you know that he's an experienced Mathnasium instructor, having worked at the Perry Hall Center for several years. He has a education background and experience. We are excited to have him join us in a management role and lead the delivery of instruction for our students!

Heather See

Lead Instructor
Heather See is an experienced Mathnasium Instructor of 5+ years who enjoys working with the team of instructors at Mathnasium of Perry Hall! She is devoted to being a part of the Mathnasium Center and appreciates being able to enrich and support students of all ages. Heather holds a M.S. degree from the University of Akron in civil engineering. Her background in engineering has given her opportunities to teach engineering and math courses, and her experience has helped her build an extensive mathematical and tutoring expertise. Heather believes that with a solid foundation of problem solving and learning the elements of mathematics, students are able to develop an understanding of life's skills to better handle whatever they may need in the future. She loves showing students how mathematics can open them up to a world of possibilities.

James Sullivan

Assistant Center Director - @Home
If your student has an opportunity to work in our @Home environment, they will be lucky enough to meet James! James is one of our most experienced Mathnasium instructors, and leads all instructional staff in the @Home platform. James' educational background includes an undergraduate focus on pre-med, with some engineering courses mixed in. His attraction to math began at an early age, but has only grown as he's learned more about what has been accomplished with math. James believes that math can be appreciated through something as basic as realizing that smartphones wouldn't exist without it, to something as complex as the fascinating explanation of the physical world and it's natural forces. We are thrilled that James feels that working at Mathnasium has been one of the most rewarding jobs he's had! Getting to witness kids learn to develop an appreciation for math as their skills and confidence grow gives James hope for the future - as he truly feels that math has the potential to help solve many future world problems through its application in technology and medicine.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
