Larry Martinek, The Genius Behind Mathnasium, Named as One of America's Top Leaders by Andy Stanley

Jul 1, 2015 | Allen

Our very own Larry Martinek was mentioned as a “bold leader” by speaker Andy Stanley at this year’s Leadercast leadership conference held on May 8, 2015 in Atlanta, GA! Larry was mentioned as an example in Stanley’s presentation “The Brave Ones”—alongside Starbucks Chairman and CEO Howard Schultz, Home Depot founders Bernie Marcus and Arthur Blank, and the late Steve Jobs of Apple; and groundbreaking business concepts such as YouTube.

Mathnasium is the success it is today, Stanley says, “all because of a guy who decided that there something that isn’t that absolutely should be—and he had an unreasonable commitment to that. Not because of a talent, not because he was resourced, not because he was a bold personality, not because he was an introvert or an extrovert, but he found that thing that was worth leaning his life into. And consequently, his influence is felt all over the country and in many places in the world.”

This is exceptional exposure for Larry and Mathnasium, especially considering that Leadercast has 29,000 followers on Twitter and 25,400 likes on Facebook, and holds corporate sponsorships from noted companies TOMS Shoes, SAP, and Pepsi. Every year, 100,000 leaders from all over the world attend the one-day conference for insight and perspective.

We’ve always looked to Larry and his life’s work for expertise, guidance, and inspiration, and we’re so thrilled to see the Mathnasium message gain exposure of this magnitude.
