Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

JR

Assistant Center Director
JR is excited to continue his Mathnasium journey with us in Allen! He has been working with Mathnasium for a while now and just recently started at our location. JR wanted to work for Mathnasium, because he too was once a student. He saw how much Mathnasium made an impact on his education and was inspired to do the same for our Mathnasium students. Math is the key to success in all educational fields, as well as being the foundation to open STEM careers, which is why JR is so passionate to teach others! Math will be important to all career fields. Fun fact: JR is such a HUGE fan of pizza that he will try any topping on it and still eat it! He even has tried pizza with a cricket before!

Evan B

Lead Instructor
Evan is currently a junior going to school at the University of Texas at Dallas! He started working here has an instructor and moved his way up to our Lead instructor! Evan loves working at Mathnasium, because he knows the importance of a good teacher, someone that not only helps students but leaves an overall positive impact on their lives. He wants to be that teacher, while making sure students are not only learning math but having a fun time doing so. Evan finds math important because he believes it is one of the most applicable skills someone can learn as it is in everything that we do and learn and use in every career. Fun fact: Evan loves soccer! Not only does he enjoy watching soccer but has been playing it for 14 years! That is 7/10ths of his life!

Francisco

Lead Instructor
Francisco is also currently going to the University of Texas at Dallas! Francisco has had a love for math since he was little, which is one of the reasons he loves working here! He wants others to see math the same way he does and love and understand it! Francisco has a love for math because he loves all the different intricacies for the processes at all the different levels! He loves to see how everything builds upon itself and once you continue the fundamentals make more sense and you can discover shortcuts to use! When you can prove how something works, it is very satisfying to him! Fun fact: Francisco has 8 siblings! Out of those 8 siblings, Francisco is directly the middle child!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
