Neha has always loved math and enjoys helping kids learn to love math and how to use it in their daily lives. Neha earned a Masters of Science degree in Molecular Genetics from the University of Connecticut. While at UConn, Neha was able to use her math talent to tutor high school and college students in Algebra, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, Advanced Calculus and Chemistry. Neha started her career 19 years ago as a scientist in the biotechnology industry and was an integral member of a team that sequenced the Human Genome, changing science for generations to come. For the past 14 years, Neha has built a successful marketing career holding various marketing management positions. In 2006, Neha decided to test her entrepreneurial skills as a marketing consultant. Top technology companies relied on her marketing expertise to drive revenue and growth, but she felt something was missing. After finding Mathnasium, Neha knew she wanted to spend the rest of her life doing what she loved the most, teaching children and math. She believes that Mathnasium can change children's attitudes toward math and help develop a deep understanding of "number sense." She believes that having confidence in one's math skills at an early age is essential in allowing students to pursue their dreams whether it be in engineering or a different discipline. She has a keen interest, especially in encouraging more children to pursue STEM fields.
