John, Center Director
John is the Owner and Center Director at Mathnasium of Bel Air. Prior to opening his Mathnasium center, John worked in the wireless industry for close to 20 years and in the environmental industry prior to that. John graduated from The Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and attended CCBC and Messiah College. John has 2 kids who have been homeschooled. He is very active in the community and is an advocate for adoption. John has a love for math and a desire to help kids understand and enjoy math and be better prepared for life.
Donna, Lead Instructor
Donna has homeschooled her 2 kids and has been tutoring math for over 30 years. Donna is a graduate of CCBC and majored in Math at Towson University. Donna has worked for CCBC and was in the banking industry prior to that. Besides her love for math, Donna is very active in the community and enjoys her family time. Donna loves to help others understand and achieve mastery of math and finds it very rewarding to see her students achieve their goals. Many of her students have returned later to express to her the impact that her instruction has had on them.
Gina is a school teacher in Baltimore County. She has taught for several years. She has also tutored in other learning centers. She enjoys working with children and is very passionate about their education.
Matt is retired from the US Navy where he spent more than nine years as a teacher and team builder. He has lots of coaching, tutoring and mentoring experience. He brings a lot of teaching a leadership to our team.
Sara teaches in a local Harford County public high school. She enjoys working w/ her students. In her spare time she is training for marathon running.
