Matrice Williams, Owner
Matrice is a wife and home-schooling mother of three amazing children, Mela, Christian, and Trinity. She is an attorney by training but realized early on that her true passion and God-given talent lies in teaching, as evidenced by her teaching in both the elementary and university settings. After being introduced to Mathnasium by a friend, she and her husband, David, decided to open their own! In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Jennifer Gattis, Center Director
Jennifer grew up in Statesboro, GA and moved to Burlington, NC in 1998. She attended Georgia Southern University as a Math major. She currently lives in Whitsett. She and her husband homeschool and have four children.

Favorite Math Joke: How do you make seven an even number? Take the s out!
Fun Fact: I am a total gear-head and love to work on cars! I helped my father restore a 1957 Chevrolet pick-up truck.

Dr. Audrey Urling, Senior Instructor
Audrey has a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Duke University and has taught at both Duke University and Alamance Community College. A mother of two Eagle Scouts, she loves teaching and feels that no child should be held back by a fear of Mathematics. She enjoys watching anime and reading, is interested in sustainability and renewable energy and has been an instructor with Mathnasium since April 2016.

Favorite Math Joke: Why didn't the quarter roll down the hill with the nickel? Because it had more cents!
Fun Fact: I grew up in Pennsylvania. (both western and south-central)

Alina Cardwell, Instructor
Alina is a student at Alamance Community College working towards an Associate in Arts degree. She enjoys dance, theater, sketching pencil drawings and writing fiction.

Meghna Mahadevan, Instructor
Meghna was born in Minneapolis, MN but raised in Elon, NC. She attends Western Alamance High School. After graduation, she plans to pursue a degree in economics. In addition to her love of math, Meghna enjoys reading, writing, photography, and spending time with friends and family.

Misbah Chhotani, Instructor
Misbah Chhotani is a recent Williams High School graduate. Misbah will attend Elon University beginning in the Fall of 2017, GO PHOENIX!!

Ryan Williams, Junior Instructor
Ryan is a homschooled High School Senior who is born and raised in Alamance County. He loves camping and spending time outdoors. He plans to one day be a swordsmith.
