2012 Summer Camp Programs

Students spend a week off from school immersed in a robotics challenge. They are partnered with another student to develop skills in designing, building, and programming a LEGO® MINDSTORMS NXT Robot. Students will receive a thorough introduction to the NXT-G programming environment which will prepare them for any future LEGO® Robotics exploration. Returning students will continue developing skills beyond the basics. This intense week of study culminates in a final exercise of everything they learned for the week - the competition. Students will use robots to solve problems and to explore topics in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
