Our staff is built to teach each student individually, to develop the skills they need to thrive in mathematics, and to foster a love of learning.

Susie Mikaloff

Owner, Center Director
Susie is excited to bring her passion for math to the greater Centerville area. After teaching math in middle school, high school, and adult education for over 28 years, the prospect of sharing the Mathnasium method with the community is very exciting. "I left the classroom in 2005, but I never lost the desire to enrich children's lives with the love of math. When I heard an ad for Mathnasium on the radio, it sounded like an answer to a prayer. Upon learning more about the program, I fell in love with the method and knew we needed to share it with others. There could be no better legacy than to have a part in improving the math skills of the children in our community and instilling that excitement for math that comes from real understanding!" Susie holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Valparaiso University in 1972 and a Master of Science degree from Purdue University in 1976. "My husband Glenn and I have 7 children, 15 grandchildren, 2 dogs, and 2 cats. When our grandchildren visit, they can't wait to come to Mathnasium!

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
