Linda, Center Director/Owner
Linda is enthusiastic about helping children to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. She has taught and tutored children of all ages, and she is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to children in the community.
Justine has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and loves helping children learn math. She works as a math assistant at a high school during the school day and as a math instructor at Mathansium after school. Justine loves working with children who have a willingness to learn. She likes trying different ways of explaining a concept until it makes sense to a child. Justine hopes to help children achieve their math goals.
Frank is happy to be at Mathnasium. He taught high school math for twelve years after working in commercial business for twenty-four years. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics and a Master’s degree in Telecommunications Management. His California single-subject teaching credentials are in Physics and Math.
Sandy has a long history as an educator. She has had the privilege to lead schools as a vice-principal and principal at the elementary, middle and high school levels. She has worked as an educational administrator as a curriculum specialist for math, science and school-to-career. Prior to that, she was a middle school math and science teacher for 15 years. Her focus has always been to support students in their learning by making curriculum engaging and helping students monitor their growth and achievement. All students can learn!!
Rochelle is very excited to be working at Mathnasium. She is currently a freshman at Clayton Valley Charter High School in the Engineering and Design Academy. She loves math and working with children. Outside of school, Rochelle enjoys dancing and being a Girl Scout.
Alicia is a senior nursing student at Merritt College and volunteer at John Muir Hospital. She has experience working with infants and toddlers as well as tutoring in Math and English. She’s excited to be working at a center where individualism is the center of learning!
Anabella attends Foothill College, she is majoring in Mathematics. She also tutors fellow college students in math. For the past year, she has been a volunteer with a Search and Rescue Team as an EMT. She likes traveling and dancing to Spanish music!
Stephanie is a junior at Clayton Valley Charter High School. Her favorite courses include calculus and chemistry. Outside of school, Stephanie enjoys playing softball as first base and playing the violin.
La Toya, Instructor
La Toya is currently a senior at San Francisco State University studying for her Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology. She has worked as a math tutor for Diablo Valley College and has her Associate of Arts Degree in Liberal Arts. Her passion is helping others to see the fun and excitement in learning math.
Sruthi is going to University of San Francisco to pursue a Master of Science degree in Health Informatics. She has a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and Engineering. She enjoys mathematics and working with children. She hopes to learn and gain experience by working for Mathnasium.
