As a former high school counselor for over 25 years, I understood how critical math education is in student achievement and as a life-skill. Math is Everywhere! Columbia has been my home during three phases of my life: as an elementary student at West Boulevard and Grant Elementary, as a college student while earning bachelor's and master's degrees at Mizzou, and as a school counselor for 7 years (2016-2023) at Rock Bridge High School. I consider it my great honor to support Columbia students in their math achievement goals. The Mathnasium Method works! We've assembled an amazing team of instructors and center director who help our students in their sessions gain skills and confidence in mathematics. We make learning math fun!!

Hello everyone! I am currently the center director of Mathnasium of Columbia Missouri. I am a senior at the University of Missouri working toward a Bachelor of Arts & Science in Mathematics with a Minor in Engineering. My future goals are to pursue a teaching career in secondary education in mathematics. I love the way that Mathnasium teaches mathematics as it builds a solid foundation for students while making it fun along the way. In the short years I've worked at Mathnasium I’ve already learned so much and have seen students improve by leaps and bounds. I cannot wait to continue growing in this community and showing students that math can be both rewarding and fun!

Hi, I'm Jackson. I'm an undergraduate student at Mizzou pursuing degrees in chemical engineering and music. I have also completed a minor in mathematics. I developed my passion for math when learning how to solve real-world, complex problems in college-level engineering and math courses. I've taught at the Columbia Mathnasium Center for more than 3 years, and it has been incredible helping students gain understanding and confidence in their skills.

Hi! I'm Rachel, a Junior at the University of Missouri working towards a bachelor's in mathematics. I love how Mathnasium not only teaches the foundations of math, but we also foster a math community within our walls. In the time I have worked at Mathnasium, I have seen such significant growth in our students. I am so proud of how far they have come and cannot wait to see what they do next.

Hello, my name is Sebastian. I am going into my senior year at Rock Bridge High School, but I am also dual enrolled at MU for advanced math classes. I like to spend my free time at the gym or relaxing with my friends. I am planning on going to MU to get a degree in finance and also hope to get a minor in mathematics. I enjoy sharing my love of math with others and teaching and learning new concepts.

Hello, my name is Jacky. I am a senior at Hickman High School studying advanced STEM classes. However I also love studying subjects in Humanities. Next year, I plan to study applied mathematics and engineering in college. I enjoy running track, playing piano, creating digital art, and getting food with friends. I want to be able to help students at Mathnasium form connections with math and see its real-world applications.

Hi! My name is Paisley and I'm a freshman at the University of Missouri. I am studying biology with a minor in business in hopes of going to dental school after graduation! My ultimate goal is to own a practice as a pediatric dentist. I love working with children, especially when I am able to connect with them personally and help them grow. At Mathnasium I have been able to form great connections with the kids and help not only them, but myself to grow as well.

Hello! My name is Vedant and I'm currently at Rock Bridge High School studying an advanced math track. I participate in Cross Country and distance Track events and I enjoy going to the gym and playing video games in my spare time. I developed a passion for math through competitions during elementary and middle school. In my time so far at Mathnasium it has been amazing helping students build confidence and understanding in their math skills.

Hello! My name is Justin, and I am a freshman at Mizzou studying mathematics with emphasis on actuarial science and mathematical finance to hopefully become an actuary after graduation. I also plan to add minors in both economics and IT in the later years of college. I enjoy going to the gym, doing anything athletic such as intramurals with my fraternity, or doing anything social. I have always enjoyed math the most growing up out of all of my subjects, and have loved working with students to help them build their confidence and understanding for math.

Hi! I am Alyssa Eagleton, I am currently a freshman at the University of Missouri pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. In my free time I enjoy hiking, listening to music, and spending time with my friends and family. Math has always been my favorite subject which is why I decided to join the Mathnasium team. I really love the way Mathnasium encourages students to learn and have a positive relationship with math. I enjoy working with students to help them grow their confidence and skill sets within math in a fun and helpful environment.
