Britney Koch

Center Manager
Miss Britney has been with Mathnasium of Countryside for over 8 years! Britney earned her Bachelor's of Science in Elementary Education from the University of South Florida. She currently teaches middle school at Countryside Christian Academy. Britney has taught 4th-8th grades, all subjects, and all levels of math through High School Geometry. She truly enjoys instilling the love of mathematics into all her students! In her free time, Britney loves to serve at her church, play with her dog Ryleigh, and, of course, visit Disney World!

Sharon Grabowski

Instructor
Sharon is an Algebra and Florida College Math teacher at Enterprise High School. She holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Mathematics as well as a Masters degree in Computer Education. She has also worked in the business sector for over 15 years and has previously taught part-time at some of the local colleges in the area. One fun fact about Sharon is that she was awarded Spectrum Bay News 9 "Teacher of the Week." Sharon loves being an Instructor at Mathnasium because she loves making math fun!

David Gladon

Instructor
David has a Bachelors degree in psychology from the University of South Florida and previously was employed as an In-class tutor for Pinellas County Public Schools. He enjoys working at Mathnasium because he likes seeing how different students think. In his free time David can be found playing board games, spending time with his family, and solving sudoku and logic puzzles. Currently David is teaching himself how to code. One fun fact about David is that he loves telling dad jokes!

Joshua Nordenbrook

Assistant Center Manager
Josh loves teaching math and making a positive impact on the lives of those around him. One fun fact about Josh is that he was able to skip his freshman year of college by gaining over 30 college credits through testing out of courses, including Macroeconomics, Marketing, and College Algebra. Josh is currently majoring in Business Administration at Saint Petersburg College with a 4.0 GPA. When he's not studying or teaching at Mathnasium, Josh directs middle and high school theater at a local private school. In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, going to the gym, and visiting theme parks. He also has a successful YouTube channel dedicated to roller coasters and theme parks. His ultimate life dream is to one day own his very own amusement park!

Amelia Brudnicka

Lead Instructor
Amelia is a student at Saint Petersburg College. She one day hopes to become an anesthesiologist. She likes working at Mathnasium because she enjoys working with kids and she has a love for mathematics. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer and riding horses. One fun fact about Amelia is that she can speak 3 languages fluently including English, German, and Polish!

Caroline Haislip

Instructor
Caroline is currently a senior at Calvary Christian High School. She loves math and has taken a wide variety of Advanced Placement math classes, including Calculus AB, Calculus BC, and AP Statistics. When she isn't working or studying, she is a competitive track athlete, making TWO separate appearances at the FHSAA Track and Field State Championship. Caroline chose to work at Mathnasium because she loves getting to know every student she teaches. Caroline is the President of her school's National Honor Society and Science Honor Society!

Edison Lara

Instructor
Edison is a student at Saint Petersburg College studying Computer Science. He is also recipient of the Sunshine State Scholars Award which recognizes excellence in STEM related achievements. In regards to mathematics, Edison has taken courses up to and including Calculus 3 (Differential Equations). Edison enjoys working at Mathnasium because he likes making connections with each and every student he works with! One fun fact about Edison is that he enjoys running and is currently training to run his first marathon.

Miles Adkins

Instructor
Miles is a student at Osceola Fundamental High School. He enjoys working at Mathnasium because he has a love for math, and likes spreading it with others. When he's not working at Mathnasium miles enjoys drawing, and furthering his studies of mathematics. In his free time Miles enjoys hiking, camping, and filmmaking. One fun fact is that he won 1st place in a video editing competition out of all Pinellas County.

Tejas Sriram

Instructor
Tejas is a Student at East Lake High School. One fun fact about Tejas is that he started his Mathnasium journey as a student in Kindergarten! After mastering all of the Mathnasium curriculum, Tejas became an instructor. Tejas is a firm believer in the Mathnasium Method which allowed him to be years ahead in his mathematical studies. Tejas works at Mathnasium because he wants to give others the experience he had coming to Mathnasium while helping them get ahead! In his free time Tejas plays the trumpet for his school's marching band, he loves to read, and he is an avid chess enthusiast.

Maija Miller

Online Instructor
Maija is a student at Florida State University, She is currently Majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Her favorite part about working at Mathnasium is seeing the look on a students face when they finally grasp a difficult concept. She enjoys helping children find a love for math rather than fearing it. When she's not working at Mathnasium you can find Maija enjoying nature, going on hikes, and rock climbing.

Arshia Alipour

Instructor
Arshia is a student at Saint Petersburg College. He is currently working towards his Associates degree, and he wants to major in mathematics. He is an active member of the National Honor Society and enjoys regularly volunteering his time. When he is not working at Mathnasium you can find Arshia taking part in his school's chess and robotic clubs. One fun Fact about Arshia is that he scored a perfect school on his Geometry EOC Exam!

Katerina Portellos

Online Instructor
Katerina is a computer science major at the University of South Florida. She has lived in Florida her whole life so she loves to be in her hammock and go outdoors! She has always had an interest in any math area, especially statistics. In her free time, she loves to paint and travel, especially to Greece. That is where her family is from. One Fun Fact: Katerina's favorite animal is a hippo! Katerina works at Mathnasium because she likes working with kids and helping them improve their confidence in math!

Gracie Moore

Online Instructor
Gracie is currently enrolled in the USF Honors College! When she's not busy studying, she loves to read, crochet, and write short stories. One Fun Fact: She loves the show The Office and has watched it almost 4 times through! She works at Mathnasium because she previously struggled with math in middle school, but tutoring helped her get back on track. Now, she gets to make a difference in students' lives!

Aimee Postorino

Instructor
Aimee is a retired 2nd grade teacher who taught for over 20 years in the clearwater area! She has four sons and loves teaching math. In her free time she loves spending time with her grandchildren.
