Sunita Sinha, Director
Sunita has a bachelor’s degree in philosophy from Patna University in India.
She has been very active in elementary and middle school PTSO. She loves to
work with children. She has helped her own kids with math in elementary school.
Her son Nishant has finished his high school at Desert Vista High school; he is
now a freshman at the University of Arizona and is planning to major in biochemistry.
Her daughter Natasha is a sophomore at Desert Vista High School and she plans to become
an ophthalmologist. Both children strongly believe that Mathnasium methods of teaching
math will help children in our community excel … persistence is the key.
Dr. Pankaj Sinha
Pankaj received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Indian Institute of
Technology, Kharagpur, one of the best engineering schools in India, and a Ph.D. from
Arizona State University. He has over 18 years of business experience, ranging from research
and development in semiconductor and steel industry to managing distributed teams across two
continents. As part of his doctoral research he developed mathematical models for differential
reactors. One of the most exciting projects he worked on was the simulation of Venus's atmosphere at
NASA Ames Research Center in California. As an industry veteran and a researcher he strongly believes
that advanced math skills are a must for industrialized nations like the United States. He also believes
that math skills can be mastered with timely guidance and plenty of practice.
He attributes his love for math to his grandfather who got him started early with word problems and time saving tricks… his favorites. His tutoring experience comes mostly from teaching his two kids who absolutely love math!
