Lora Culp, Certified Lead Instructor,
teaches for the Olathe School District. She earned her BS in Education from Pittsburg State University; her Master of Arts in Teaching from St. Mary’s University and will be completing an ESL endorsement from Kansas State University. Lora brings 9 years of teaching experience to Mathnasium.

Qi Chen, Instructor,
is a senior at Shawnee Mission East where he has taken Calculus 3 and Differential Equations. He will be enrolled in Statistics and Discrete Math during the 2009-2010 school year. While attending Shawnee Mission East he has participated in various mathematics and computer programming competitions.

Roxanne Campbell, Instructor,
works for the Blue Valley School District. She earned a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Drury University. She earned her MBA in Operations Management from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. Roxanne brings 2 years of tutoring experience to Mathnasium.

Erin Hogan, Certified Instructor,
graduated from the University of Kansas with a BS in Business Administration and Accounting. She completed her elementary education certification through Ottawa University-Kansas City.

Stephen Rong, Instructor,
is a senior at Blue Valley West where he has taken Calculus I and AP Statistics. He is enrolled in Calculus II and Calculus III during the 2009-2010 school year. He has participated in various mathematics and science competitions, including the USA Math Olympiad.

Lia Robb, Instructor,
is a student at Johnson County Community College. She is planning to transfer to UMKC in the fall of 2010 to pursue a BA in elementary education. She graduated from Blue Valley Northwest, where she tutored friend and classmates in math.

Krista Poore, Instructor,
is a student at Olathe East High School where she has been involved in the advanced mathematics and science track of study.  After graduation, Krista would like to pursue a career that would allow her to work with children.

Lydia Peele, Certified Instructor,
graduated from Kansas State University with a BS in Secondary Mathematics Education.   She taught a math and study skills course for K-State and tutored students in both upper and lower level math courses.   During her student teaching, Lydia taught Honors Geometry and Algebra I at Shawnee Mission West High School.

Jon Ford, Instructor,
is a student at Blue Valley West High School where he is enrolled in a rigorous course schedule with two AP classes this year and 5 planned for next year.  He is currently taking Honors Pre-Calculus/ Trigonometry.

Therese Restituto, Instructor,
is a student at the University of St. Mary where she is pursuing a BA in Mathematics and licensure in Secondary Mathematics Education.  Therese brings 6 years of tutoring experience to Mathnasium.

School Year Hours:

Mathnasium will follow the Olathe/Blue Valley School closing policies for inclement weather. If school is canceled, Mathnasium will be closed. If inclement weather occurs on a Saturday, please call the center prior to arrival to ensure the center will be open. This schedule is subject to change. In the event of schedule changes, members will be notified.
