Kobad Bugwadia, Director
Kobad Bugwadia has a Ph.D. in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Rutgers University. While in graduate school he was a Teaching Assistant as well as an Instructor in the Electrical Engineering and Mathematics Departments, and was twice recipient of the “TA of the Year” Award.
He has had a distinguished career in the high tech industry for over 11 years at companies including Intel in both Managerial and Technical positions. He is also an Adjunct Faculty member in the Mathematics and Computer Science Department at Santa Clara University. While pursuing his Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Kobad enjoyed providing tutoring and coaching to elementary and secondary school students in his community. He believes Mathematics is an important part of building a strong foundation for problem solving and success in various careers and fields for our future generation. In Mathnasium, he has found a way to realize his passion for teaching and love for Mathematics while helping kids visualize the concepts.
Kobad is a proud parent of a 5th and a 2nd grader, and being involved in their education has helped him to think from a student’s perspective. Making learning fun and exciting without being a burden is something he looks forward to.
