Julie Chamberlin, Director,
Mathnasium Master Certified
Julie graduated magna cum laude from the University of South Florida with a bachelor of science in biology. After hearing many success stories from students who attended Mathnasium, Julie decided to volunteer at the New Tampa center.
Julie found that teaching children math in a way that makes sense to them was very rewarding as she observed for herself the transformation in so many children. She looks forward to continuing the quality math education that Mathnasium provides and she is very proud to be the center director.
Mathew Williamson, Director
Mathew earned an advanced joint bachelors and master's degree in mathematics from the University of South Florida. While working on his degree, he served as a teaching assistant for many classes. After graduating, he taught at Hillsborough Community College, the University of South Florida, and was an instructor at Mathnasium of New Tampa.
While working as an instructor at Mathnasium, Mathew fell in love with the Mathnasium Method, and as he gained more experience with it, he realized how he could help so many students by opening his own center.
When the New Tampa center became available, Mathew and Julie jumped at the opportunity to continue serving the children in their community.

With the proper preparation and continuing help from highly-trained and supportive math tutors, your children can feel more confident all year long about the challenging new material they will be constantly facing.
During the school year, our Mathletes receive the consistent homework help and foundational support they require to keep up with and even excel in their classroom curriculum. We explain math in a way that kids understand. From this solid foundation they acquire Number Sense (the ability to think mathematically), which leads to a boost in their self-confidence.
