Kapil Mathur, Director
Mathnasium Master Certified
Kapil holds bachelor's degrees in science from Chapman University and a master's degree from UCLA. He has extensive experience in math and science education. Kapil co-authored an experiential math and science program for middle school children where basic principles are demonstrated by using ordinary objects. Kapil was also instrumental in developing technology programs involving math, chemistry and physics for the high school student. "Using examples from a child's real world," says Kapil, "is one of the best ways to help them visualize complex mathematical ideas." Kapil lives in San Clemente with his wife Geetika who is pursing a Ph.D. at UC Irvine.
