Molly Nesham, Lead Instructor
A graduate of General Motors Institute, which is now Kettering University, with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Molly has used her creativity and math skills in a variety of applications. She has worked extensively in robotics and her developments include an Unattended Assembly Cell at Allen-Bradley and a robot that makes Nerf footballs. Molly has also designed computer programs for quality control of products ranging from medical image scanners to Oscar Mayer Lunchables.
After 10 years in the industry, Molly became interested in children’s education and began teaching math and science for Grades 7-12 at several private schools. She has also home-schooled her four children; the two oldest are now in college.
"I inherited a love of problem solving and math from my mother, a physicist at NASA for more than 47 years, and I want to pass it on. I see the Mathnasium method as an excellent way to ignite young minds to propel us beyond rocket science."
Timothy Nesham, Manager
Tim graduated from the University of Wisconsin in 1986 with a B.S. degree in Business Administration, specializing in Management Information Systems. He also holds a Master’s in Management Information Systems from the University of Phoenix.
Since 1986, Tim has worked in information systems for various firms, and was most recently a project leader for the eBusiness division at Coventry Health Care. Tim, a Certified Instructor in the computer languages Java and Powerbuilder, has taught computer programming at a technical college for many years. Tim also operates a chess club for children outside of St. Louis, and has helped a number of children play successfully in scholastic chess tournaments.
