Dan Mc Padden, Director
Dan has over fifteen 15 years experience in the accounting profession. His passion for number crunching resulted in his career in accounting in the manufacturing industry. Dan received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Masters in Business Administration from Lake Erie College, and is certified to substitute teach in Ohio. During his college tenure he was recognized as a Who's Who Among College Students. Dan is a professional tutor and adjunct math instructor for Lake Erie College and teaches in the W-E school system. Dan volunteers in an educational program called Dare to Dream. In this program business professionals visit 5th grade classrooms and help students form business plans and start up mock businesses. Math has always come easy to Dan and it was not until he professionally tutored college students that he realized many adult students also struggle with simple mathematical concepts. He began to look for a way to address these problems at a much earlier level in a student's development. While searching on the internet he came across Mathnasium's website. After looking at Mathnasium's philosophy and problem solving methods, Dan realized he had found his vehicle to help students gain a better understanding at all levels of mathematics.

"To me learning math is more than just memorizing formulas and postulates. There has to be the ability to practically apply the concepts that have been comprehended. The Mathnasium method presents these concepts in a most comprehensible and applicable way."
