Our Team

Irene has been a full-time math and science teacher since 1998 when she graduated with a B.S. from the University of California at San Diego. Experienced in curriculum planning and development, Irene created and implemented afterschool enrichment programs for several elementary schools in need of math improvement. In addition, she has worked as a private tutor with select students in an effort to raise students' individual math scores or to push high achievers to the next level. With a Masters in Education, Irene is highly trained to enable students to think critically and independently. She is thrilled to be working with the students of Mathnasium and to be contributing to the development of Mathnasium Schools.
