Our Team

Harry earned a Master’s Degree in Education following a Bachelor’s of Arts in Human Development from Hope International University (Fullerton), and has his California multiple subject credential with supplemental math authorization. He also has a Master in Religion from Southern California Seminary and a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Calvary Chapel Bible College. Harry has been a math teacher for Palos Verdes Unified, El Segundo Unified, Torrance Unified School District, LAUSD, and has taught at Gardena Valley Christian School, and Crossroad Christian Academy. Harry can identify with many of the students he comes across in his classrooms and at Mathnasium. He personally struggled with math as a student, but later discovered that math can be “conquered” through discovery, attitude adjustment, proper thinking, and by having fun. He’s thrilled to be able to help students in Torrance improve their math skills and attitude as he once did, and looks forward to serving many children at his Mathnasium Center. Harry is a native of Torrance and lives in the area with his wife and 2 young children. He enjoys sports of all kinds and loves working with children of all ages.

The "Team" includes a retired Lawyer, a Math Teacher, current and future students of U.C. Irvine, San Diego State, Long Beach State; former contestant and winner of the game show Jeopardy, and top High School students currently at or above Calculus I. We all have a unique love for helping others "get" math and will do all we can to help your child take it to the "next level"!
