James Pruett

Lead Instructor
I graduated from Georgia College in Milledgeville with a BS in physics in 2014. I have a black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and love practicing and teaching various martial arts styles including kickboxing, Judo, and FMA. I studied medical physics in graduate school and worked on linear accelerators at the Stephenson Cancer Center in Oklahoma City. I've done physics research in observational astronomy and 3D printing from CT scans! When I'm not teaching math, I spend a large portion of my time at All Saints Catholic Church across the street. I like to cook and I am an Eagle Scout.

Sophia Pappadakis

Lead Instructor
Hi! I'm Sophia Pappadakis. I am a Senior at Marist School and will attend Georgia Tech in the fall to study Industrial Engineering. I have loved math since I was very young, and I love being able to pass on what I know. Apart from math, I love to play golf, read, and bake, and I play a few instruments including piano, trumpet, and, most recently, I am learning guitar.

Vincent Erwin

Lead Instructor
Hey there, I'm Vincent Erwin, and I enjoy math. I find interest in numbers and equations, which is why I'm readying myself to major in computer science. Apart from math, I love expressing my creative side through drawing, where I let my imagination run. Because of this, Coding is one of my favorite hobbies because it combines math and creativity. If I’m not doing either of those things, I'll often be outside exercising during the autumn and winter months.

Our Mathnasium Mission

Teach children math so they understand it, master it, and love it. Math can change their lives, and they can change the world.

What I love about Mathnasium is the ability to teach problem-solving skills and make math make sense, while also making a student smile.
