Nagender holds a Masters Degree in Engineering from South Dakota State University. He currently works for a major manufacturer in Minnesota as a Project Lead, managing multiple projects in the area of Information Technology. He has over 15 years of experience in the IT field. Nagender taught at a local Technical College in the area of Basic Computing and Java. His love of teaching started in his early age when he tutored many peers while in high school and during college.
Nagender has always been fascinated by math and that intrigue prompted him to pursue both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Engineering. He believes that math is the foundation of children’s development and provides strong problem solving and critical thinking skills. This is what prompted him to pursue opening the Mathnasium Center in Eagan. In today’s world kids are afraid of math, because they don’t have a strong foundation or firm understanding of the concepts. Once you break the ice for them, it creates a world of wonders to open up in their lives. Nagender believes that the Mathnasium principles will teach kids math in a way that make sense to them.
Nagender enjoys spending time with his wife, Vaishnavi and two children, Aishwarya and Aashish. He is looking forward to helping the kids of the Eagan area with their math.
