Camille Steahly

Assistant Center Director
A recent graduate of Miami University, Cam holds degrees in Data Analytics and Sociology. With a decade of experience in actively tutoring and working with children in the Elmhurst area, Camille is deeply committed to education. Beyond her teaching endeavors, she finds her passion in aviation, where she is an enthusiastic pilot and aviation enthusiast. Camille aspires to contribute to higher education in the future, making her mark in the academic realm.

Miguel Luna

Lead Instructor/Center Assistant
Miguel Luna is a rising Junior at Elmhurst University. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's in Computer Science and Mathematics. He is also a math tutor at the university. Miguel graduated from Bartlett High School. Miguel enjoys learning how things work and problem-solving. He also enjoys taking gadgets apart, putting them back together, and fixing anything that's broken. Miguel loves Math due to the way it can change how one thinks and perceive the world and its relationship to pattern recognition.

Richard Jeffrey

Center Assistant
Richard was a classroom teacher for 40 years. He loves to make learning new things fun and easy to remember. He also is a musician, director, and composer. Richard also knows a ton about history and space! "Curiosity is the essence of our existence." -Gene Cernan

Shivani Brahmbhatt

Shivani is a former high school math teacher who taught everything from pre-algebra to pre-calculus in Title 1 schools. She has been with Mathnasium for four years and has instructed at every level from the youngest one-on-ones to college level students. She loves to cook, read, craft, and hangout with her baby in her spare time!

Adi Patel

Instructor
Adi Patel is an aspiring high school mathematics teacher. In the past he studied mechanical engineering at UIC. In his free time you can find Adi cooking, volunteering or watching/playing sports. His favorite sports are formula 1 racing, basketball and football. Adi finds that an understanding of mathematics allows everyone to experience the world with a bit of curiosity as we are constantly surrounded by numbers, equations and algorithms. He has always loved mathematics growing up and looks forward to sharing this love for math with all of his students.

Chris Browne

Instructor
Having studied finance and accounting, Christopher currently works as the business manager of a non-profit organization. One of his greatest passions is empowering young people, and aiding them in living up to their greatest potential. An avid marathoner, Christopher encourages bold goal-setting and always promises that persistence pays off.

Jacob Suiter

Instructor
Jacob Suiter is a Nutrition and Food Science major at UIC. In the past he also studied as an astrophysics major, but found a love for cooking. In his free time, he loves cooking, gardening, and playing video games. He also has a dog, cat, snake, tortoise, bird, and frog as pets.

Calvin Magnon

Instructor
Calvin is a sophomore at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University studying Aerospace Engineering with a focus on Spacecraft Design. He leads a small creative writing company of his own founding and spends his free time working on side projects or spending time with friends. His academic accolades include being an Illinois State Scholar, a member of both the National Honors Society and the National Society of High School Scholars, and the French Honors Society.

Mark Stukel

Instructor
Mark Stukel is a senior at York High School in Elmhurst. He likes hanging out with his friends, playing video games, playing hockey, soccer and of course, MATH! He loves to share his knowledge and talents with others.

Orion Stufflebeam

Orion is a student at York High School and will graduate with the class of 2024. He's an active member in their music program as well as their math team. He loves working on challenges with his teammates and improving his and others' math skills

Avi Shah

Instructor
Avi is a senior at York High School and will be in the graduating class of 2024. He is currently taking Calculus BC and Statistics. He finds math fascinating because of its vast applications and the intricacies in which numbers can work together to solve problems. He wants to be able to help others experience math that way as well. Outside of work, Avi is a hurdler on the track team, a board member of the economics club, a freshman mentor and volunteers as a peer tutor at York. His hobbies include playing piano and studying computer science. He is also an avid sports enthusiast, especially watching Michigan football/basketball. Go Blue!

Nick Cifelli

Instructor
Nick is part of York High School's class of 2024, and currently taking calculus for the first time. He likes math because of how logical it is and because everything can be explained and taken apart. When he's not at work, Nick is likely running, since he is on the York cross country team, playing chess, or playing other sports like basketball or soccer. Nick enjoys helping others understand math so that they can also see the beauty in it.

Nathan Yu

Nathan is an upcoming Junior in York High School. So far, he has achieved all sectional, all conference, and has qualified for state as a freshman in boys tennis. Nathan loves going to the gym, hanging out with his friends, and helping out anyone that he can.

Adam George

Adam is a sophomore at York Community High School. He enjoys math, exercise, sports, going to the mall, buying clothes, and pizza! Adam is currently taking Pre-Calculus Honors and is involved in Deca club and Key club, as he enjoys doing business activities and volunteering. He looks forward to sharing his passion for business and math with all his students!

Johan Chae

Instructor
Johan is a sophomore at York High School and is currently taking Pre-Calculus. He enjoys going to the gym, playing soccer, and competing in both chess and wrestling. He's so excited to work at Mathnasium because he loves math as well as helping others! Johan hopes to share his love of math because its a universal language! The ability to understand, think, and share this universal language is an absolute necessity and he's believes its satisfying to help get students fluent in math!

Zain Khan

Instructor
Zain is a currently rising junior at York High School and is graduating in the class of 2025. He participates in economics club, ambassadors club, and volunteers at the Elmhurst Hospital in his spare time. His favorite subject in school is math because of the variety of ways problem solving can happen. He wants to be able to help others experience that feeling as well. Outside of school and work, Zain loves sports and plays them himself. He plays basketball, runs track, and is a huge Ohio State sports fan. Go bucks!

Taylor Melind

Taylor Melind is a senior at York High School. She is currently completing Calculus 3, and plans to take a Linear Algebra course soon. Outside of work, Taylor enjoys sewing and tailoring clothes and is an arid reader. She hopes to inspire others to see the beauty of math and its everyday applications.

Gina Leonard

Gina is a student at Ohio State University majoring in Mathematics Education and minoring in Mathematics. She graduated from Lyons Township High School in 2020. In high school, she was a part of the cheerleading team, Young Life, and National Honors Society. At OSU, Gina is the recipient of the Trustees Scholarship and the National Buckeye Scholar for her academics, as well as been on the Dean’s list for four semesters. Gina has always had a passion for math as well as teaching. She has previously taken internship courses and has worked under math teachers at Highlands Middle School in La Grange, Illinois and Metro Early College High School in Columbus, Ohio. Gina was awarded Student of the Month her senior year in November 2019 for her impressive work in the field of education. Gina is looking forward to working with students of all ages and helping them gain a strong understanding of math in the way that works best for them.

Nick Pomato

Nick Pomatto is a rising senior at the University of Michigan. He is currently studying economics at Umich. Nick graduated from York Community High School in 2020. His senior year, Nick was the president of the National Honor Society and the Model United Nations Team. Additionally, Nick was a regular volunteer at the York Tutor Center and participated as a lifeguard for freshman and sophomore swim classes. Nick has always loved math in school; he is excited to ignite a passion for math in the next generation of students. In his free time, Nick enjoys bike rides, listening to music, and playing guitar. Nick is honored to be able to expand the passion and comprehension of students in math.
