Jordan studied mathematics at university in England. Since university he has opened his own gym and developed an online donation software. He was born in the US but raised in England to an Irish father and American mother. He has 3 passports making him the James Bond of Mathnasium with a license to instruct. He love numbers but more so he loves helping kids reach their potential. When he got the call to expand Mathnasium around the world he jumped at the chance to be apart of this amazing.
Jackie Rivera, Assistant Director
Jackie finished her Associate’s degree in Education and this Fall of 2016, she will be transferring to California State University, Los Angeles to achieve a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies with a focus in Mathematics. She is also aiming to have double credentials, K-6 and 7-12th grade. She used to struggle in Math herself but one teacher changed her life and found passion in teaching. She has volunteered in a number of elementary schools for three years as a teacher’s assistant. Some of her hobbies are cooking, hiking, and reading.
Jovy Santos, Lead Instructor
Jovy received her Associate of Arts in Science at Los Angeles Pierce College, and is currently pursuing her B.A. in Chemistry at California State Northridge. She has always found Math to be a fun and challenging subject to learn and teach, and she consistently strives to better the student’s relationship with Math. She’s a huge lover of nature and animals, and she loves to would watch old movies, listen to music, and spend time with her friends during her spare time.
Allison is currently a student at Cal State Northridge. She is studying Biochemistry and hopes to find a career in the S.T.E.M. fields. She used to struggle with mathematics until she came to Mathnasium, where one of the instructors helped her realize her love for math. Her favorite types of math to teach are Algebra 2 and Statistics. In her free time, she writes poetry, paints, and travels to old bookstores and coffee shops.
Moises received his Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics at California State University Northridge. He is studying to become an Actuary/Analyst, but could opt out to become a teacher. He has more than 5 years of experience as a math tutor. He is an expert mathematician and enjoys the challenge of helping others perform well in their math classes. In his free time, he studies data, plays chess, plays guitar, creates his own music, goes hiking, and spends time with friends.
