You might have heard the collective groan that went up across Fayette County back in August 2007. It was coming from many of Fayette’s parents and their school-age children as they faced the real-world outcomes of the Georgia Department of Education’s decision to implement a new system of teaching math all across the state.

In 2006, Kevin Thoman opened his first business, a Mathnasium franchise in Peachtree City. Mathnasium is an after school math only learning center, where students come in to receive help with math.

Kevin Thoman, owner and Center Director of Mathnasium of Peachtree City, was recognized by Mathnasium Headquarters for building an outstanding Mathnasium center that excels in all aspects of center management, from day-to-day business operations to administering quality education.
