Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA in 1999. He worked for four years as a math teacher for LAUSD where he taught all levels of math from Pre-Algebra to AP Calculus. In addition, he served as a math teacher for the Jaime Escalante Program at East Los Angeles Community College, and as a math teacher for the Upward Bound Program at Cal State Los Angeles. He has spent the past two years working as a math teacher for Etiwanda High School in Rancho Cucamonga. Michael has taken notice of the pressures placed on students to perform well on standardized tests year after year, and of the anxiety that can develop during the months leading up to these tests. He has dedicated himself to helping students of all ages gain a true understanding and love of math.
