Our Team

Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:

Owner/CenterDirectorDawn Sheriff, Owner & Center Director 

Dawn Sheriff is the Owner & Center Director at Mathnasium of Greenville Five Forks. With 20 years in education, Dawn has teaching experience ranging from high school through preschool and most recently directed a very successful private preschool program in Powdersville. Dawn is passionate about helping children and believes early intervention can help every child succeed. She has an MLIS from University of South Carolina and a BA in Secondary Education from Clemson University. Watching her own children struggle in both private and public programs has shaped her feelings about education. Dawn is excited about the opportunity to help every child in the Greenville community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. She has taught and tutored children of all ages, and she is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community. 



Reagan Bachour, Instructor & Administrative Assistant 

Reagan is a recent graduate from Clemson University. She is a certified teacher and will be beginning her teaching career in the fall at Gateway Elementary in a 5th grade classroom. Reagan is a fantastic instructor and is great at keeping things going smoothly at our center every day! Even though she will be in her classroom full-time in the fall, we love having her as part of the Mathnasium team! An interesting fact about Reagan is that she once played in Carnegie Hall in high school.





Renee Brewer, Instructor

Mrs. Renee loves math! After retiring from a career in restaurant management, she has happily joined our Mathnasium team to share her love of math with others. She and her husband Ben have two fur babies that enjoy walks in the park and nap time with Ben. Her patience and kindness are inspiring.  We are glad to have her as part of the Mathnasium team!




Andy Moehlenbrock, Instructor

Andy is retired from life as an engineer. His work history includes years at both Sealed Air Corporation and Kemet Electronics. These days, he is enjoying retirement  teaching others math and spending time with his grandchildren. Andy and his wife Maxine just welcomed grandchild #6 in early August, and he thinks retirement will be the best years yet.  We are so happy he's choosing to share his love of math with our students every day!





Kinley Anderson, Instructor

Kinley is a senior at Brashier Middle College this fall. She is president of the National Honors Society at her school and is also a member of student council. She is considering being a pediatric physical therapist and hopes to attend Chapel Hill or High Point next year. She is currently ranked #1 in her class!  She has two dogs named Bulwinkle & Rocky. She also enjoys leading a small group at Grace Church.
Fun Fact: Kinley has been doing ballet for 14 years and perfoms with the Dance Theatre of Greenville. 


Tyler Bruce, Instructor

Tyler is a senior at Brashier Middle College where he is part of the basketball team. He is very involved in his church and hopes to attend Liberty University upon graduation.  He created a high school community group called Breakthrough that meets at various locations every Sunday.  







Patrick Goodwin, Instructor

Patrick is a senior at Woodmont High School where is a kicker on the football team. In his freetime, Patrick enjoys robotics, chess and all things mathematical. An interesting fact about Patrick is that he has 1200 digits of pi memorized! (What the what?!?!) He also LOVES cats. Just ask him about his 20 lb. Maine Coon! 






Drew Bagwell, Instructor

Drew is an all-A senior at J.L. Mann who participates in the orchestra where he plays violin.  For college next year, he hopes to major in computer science at one of the in-state universities. Drew volunteers at his church developing an app and help maintains the church computer equipment. He has three dogs, Cherry, Shelly and Bella and two new kittens, Batman & Robin.
