Dawn Sheriff, Owner & Center Director
Dawn Sheriff is the Owner & Center Director at Mathnasium of Greenville Five Forks. With 20 years in education, Dawn has teaching experience ranging from high school through preschool and most recently directed a very successful private preschool program in Powdersville. Dawn is passionate about helping children and believes early intervention can help every child succeed. She has an MLIS from University of South Carolina and a BA in Secondary Education from Clemson University. Watching her own children struggle in both private and public programs has shaped her feelings about education. Dawn is excited about the opportunity to help every child in the Greenville community to truly understand math by teaching it in the way that makes sense to them. She has taught and tutored children of all ages, and she is committed to bringing the Mathnasium Method to the children in the community.
Reagan is a recent graduate from Clemson University. She is a certified teacher and will be beginning her teaching career in the fall at Gateway Elementary in a 5th grade classroom. Reagan is a fantastic instructor and is great at keeping things going smoothly at our center every day! Even though she will be in her classroom full-time in the fall, we love having her as part of the Mathnasium team! An interesting fact about Reagan is that she once played in Carnegie Hall in high school.
Renee Brewer, Instructor
Mrs. Renee loves math! After retiring from a career in restaurant management, she has happily joined our Mathnasium team to share her love of math with others. She and her husband Ben have two fur babies that enjoy walks in the park and nap time with Ben. Her patience and kindness are inspiring. We are glad to have her as part of the Mathnasium team!
Kinley Anderson, Instructor
Kinley will be a senior at Brashier Middle College this fall. She is vice president of the National Honors Society at her school, and treasurer of student council.
Fun Fact: Kinley has been ballet for 13 years and perfoms with the Dance Theatre of Greenville.
Tyler Bruce, Instructor
Tyler is a rising senior at Brashier Middle College where he is part of the basketball team. He is very involved in his church and hopes to attend Liberty University upon graduation.
Cate Garcia, Instructor
Cate is a recent graduate from Wade Hampton High School where she was both the captain of the Academic Team and president of the National Honor Society. In her spare time outside of work and school, she is a competitive tap dancer. She will be going to USC Honors in the fall and majoring in anthropology. Cate is also Valedictorian of her graduating class. Way to go, Cate!!!
Fun Fact: Cate loves to bake, especially cupcakes!
Manuel Feigl, Instructor
Manny is a recent graduate from Brashier Middle College. He speaks Spanish fluently as well as seven other languages & plans to spend his first two years of college abroad in France. He is also Valedictorian of his class! (Way to go Manny!) We love having you on our Mathnasium team!
Min-Seo Song, Instructor
Min-Seo Song is a recent graduate at Mauldin High School where he is involved in clubs ranging from bowling to key club. He will be attending CBU in Memphis, TN in the fall where he is considering majoring in either engineering or nursing.
Collin Angell, Instructor
Collin is a recent graduate from Brashier Middle College. I haven't seen a math problem stump him yet! He is an amazing mathematician and will be attending USC in the fall where he will be majoring in actuary science in college. In his free time, Collin enjoys gaming and hanging out with friends. Fun Fact: He can solve a Rubix cube in less than 30 seconds!
Marston Copeland, Instructor
Marston is a recent graduate from Mauldin High School who played the mellophone in the marching and the french horn in the wind ensemble. In addition to being a Math Rock Star at Mathnasium, he is also a member of the National Honor Society where he has spent many of his service hours tutoring at Mauldin Elementary School and the Frazee Center. Marston will be attending Clemson University in the fall where he is double-majoring in physics and mathematics.
Patrick Goodwin, Instructor
Patrick is a rising senior at Woodmont High School where is a kicker on the football team. In his freetime, Patrick enjoys robotics and all things mathematical.
Drew Bagwell, Instructor
Drew is a rising senior at J.L. Mann.
