Chris Hofer, Owner and Center Director
Chris graduated from George Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and completed coursework for a minor in special education. Chris has several years of teaching experience. After becoming aware of his own children's struggles with mathematics, Chris decided to bring the Mathnasium Method to the Greensboro and High Point communities.
Angie Moore, Center Assistant Director
Angie has been the Assistant Director of Mathnasium of Greensboro since December of 2010. She is an extroverted people-person with strong customer service skills. Prior to working at Mathnasium, Angie worked as a stay-at-home mom to her six children for 21 years. This gives Angie a unique and personal understanding of the challenges and frustrations that parents face when their child is struggling academically. She is passionative about ensuring that each student is having a positive experience and thriving in the Mathnasium enviroment. Angie loves when kids have that "lightbulb" moment and realize for the first time that they can do math!
David graduated high school from Southwest Guilford and is currently finishing up his degree in Mathematics: Actuarial Science at Liberty University. He has received several math awards including Best Math Student, which he received throughout several grades, and Highest Graduate Math Achievement Award which he received his Senior year at Southwest due to his perfect SAT Math score as well as his perfect AP Statistics and AP Calculus scores. He enjoys helping others in math, which he has done since middle school. While attending Liberty University, he has continued this by helping numerous college students with a variety of math topics while also helping others at local high schools. While finishing up his degree online, he is glad to be able to continuously help others at our Mathnasium locations.
Jamese is a graduate of Spellman College with a B.S. in Mathematics. She has worked previously as a math tutor in the math lab at Spellman College. Her passion for math shows in how well she communicates with students. She has a love of all things math, especially math games. She also enjoys organic chemistry, music and cheerleading.
