Our Team

Bridget is a Massachusetts licensed mathematics teacher. She has a bachelor of science degree in Biology from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, a master's degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix, and is a Master Certified Instructor through Mathnasium University. Bridget enjoys working with kids and loves math, science, and chess. She is the Mathnasium of Hyannis Chess Club coach, and spends her free time promoting math and chess at schools across Cape Cod. Bridget is also the mother of a 12-year old son, Nathan.

Susan received her degree in education from UMASS Amherst. She has taught 5th and 6th grade students for over 20 years. She is currently a 6th grade math & science teacher at the Barnstable Intermediate School. Susan is married with two children. She enjoys tennis, travelling, and reading. She has lived in many towns in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Stan received his BS in chemical engineering from Drexel University and MS in engineering science from Penn State. He has taught math and science at the high school and college levels for many years. Currently Stan is an adjunct professor at Massachusetts Maritime Academy, teaching chemistry and physics.

Katie earned her degree in Early Childhood Education from North Adams State College. She is currently the lead teacher of pre-k at Trinity Christian Academy. She is happily married with 4 children. Katie’s passion is teaching young children, helping them build their confidence, and watching them grow as individual learners.

Elizabeth is a Senior at Barnstable High School, and plans to pursue a career in education. She is a member of the National Honor Society, who enjoys working with kids of all ages. She is currently a part of the child development program at BHS, and working toward her licensure in early childhoon education. Elizabeth also enjoys performing with the BHS drama club.

Danielle is a Junior at Barnstable High School, where she is an honor student. She plans to study education in college. Danielle loves performing with the BHS drama club, plays the piano, and studies voice.

Michael is a Junior at Sturgis Charter Public School, enrolled in the International Baccalaureate Program. He is the assistant coach of Mathnasium of Hyannis' Chess Club, and volunteers to teach chess in local elementary schools. Michael is fluent in Chinese, and enjoys playing tennis and chess.

Bruce graduated from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy with a Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, and is currently working toward a Master's degree in Education. He teaches middle school and high school math at Trinity Christian Academy. Bruce and his wife welcomed their first child into their family in 2009.

Sadie is our official greeter. If she is not napping, she will greet you with a wagging tail, hoping for belly-rub. She may not be great at math but she LOVES kids!
