The Mathnasium Program
MATHNASIUM is a learning center where kids can go after school to boost their math skills. We are highly specialized. We only teach math. Our program is for students in grades 2 to 12. Students attend instruction twice a week for an hour. There is also the option to attend three times a week. Our goal is to significantly increase your child’s math skills, understanding of math concepts, and overall school performance. Your child's curriculum is personalized to their specific needs, and they are assessed every eight weeks to ensure that they have mastered the material. The best part is that kids enjoy their time here! Most importantly, they acquire Number Sense—the ability to think mathematically. We focus on building a solid foundation of skills, which will maximize your child’s success in school, the SAT, and beyond. There is a wonderful side–benefit from this process: your child’s boosted self–confidence.
SAT PREP
Our SAT prep course is a natural complement to our existing method in math instruction. The instruction is two pronged: one, a comprehensive overview of the test's format and test taking strategies; two, tutoring in the mathematical concepts that the test will encompass and in any foundational concepts that the student has not yet mastered.
