My daughter had a really challenging year with math in her freshman year. She started Mathnasium sometime in April or May last year. She is now a sophomore and Her grades and confidence have improved tremendously after going to Mathnasium! In addition she thoroughly loves the staff! Everyone is very pleasant and accommodating!

My kid has benefitted greatly from attending Mathnasium these past few months. He’s always happy to go, looks forward to the experience and seeing his new friends while gaining confidence in his math skills. We are homeschoolers which has its benefits and its challenges and attendance at Mathnasium has really filled a gap, a void if you will. Worth the investment of time and money which, for us is significant.

My grandson is homeschooled and we needed some help teaching him math in a way that didn’t frustrate and bore him. In addition to his growing confidence in math, he’s enjoying meeting other students and teachers as well as being introduced chess.

Mathnasium has been very helpful for our daughter last school year. The school has a lots of flexible times which makes easier for plan ahead the schedules.

The tutors are absolutely amazing! I really like that they relate to the kids on their level and make it seem "cool" that they are there. It made it super easy to get my son to agree to going. Most importantly, his math scores improved dramatically at school in a short amount of time and my son's confidence grew along with his grades. I wish they covered more subjects because they are so good with math, imagine what they could do in other subjects!

My son is a freshman in high school and he is taking Honors Geometry. He was averaging an F in math until he started coming to Mathnasium. He has begun this semester with an A in his homework and feeling more confident than ever before. It has improved his confidence, not only in math, but in all his classes.

It’s helping my daughter a lot for her math

My daughter has never liked math. She is dyslexic and numbers are a challenge. Our experience is from day 1 she has enjoyed math here: The various teachers that help her make sure she understands what she is doing in a fun environment! Sometimes when one person explains something it’s not exactly clear for her, but then another person will rotate through and it will click with how they explained it. It’s an incredible set up that has brought success in making her understand she doesn’t “hate math,” The struggle can sometimes be hard, but with great resources you can achieve much.

I have told parents at Bethesda about the positive experience at Mathnasium and how my son thrives. He loves the tutors he interacts with and enjoys seeing how much further ahead he is in his math skills.

My daughter started 3rd grade below grade level in Math but at or above grade level in reading and writing. She finished 4th grade having earned Mastery in Math on the STAAR test. She scored lower on the other subjects. She has been in Mathnasium since 3rd grade and my husband and I firmly believe her STAAR performance is largely a reflection of her participation in Mathnasium.
