Mike Lee, Center Director, Owner
Mike is a veteran math instructor. He has been teaching math at the community college level for over 25 years. Frustrated by how many of his college-level students are inadequately prepared for college math, his new mission is to help K-12 level students learn and love math at an earlier age for a lifetime of success in school and beyond. Mike has double Bachelors' degrees in Mathematics and Physics from the University of Hawaii, and a Masters in Mathematics from the Univesity of Wisconsin, Madison. Mike has a daughter in high school and enjoys golf, hiking and swimming.
Marissa, Assistant Center Director, Instructor
Marissa is currently attending Saddleback Community College, majoring in math. She is an experienced private tutor specializing in simplifying math concepts and coaching to solve problems by thinking critically. She served as an embedded tutor for math classes, providing additional assistance to students. She loves to help struggling students improve
Michelle, Assistant Center Director, Instructor
Michelle is currently an undergraduate student at the University of California, Irvine. She is pursuing a degree in mechanical engineering. In her free time Michelle enjoys scuba diving, traveling and trying new things
Chloe, Marketing & Business Manager
Chloe is currently attending Saddleback Community College as a business major. She is transferring to Cal State in the Fall of 2018. After school, she is planning on pursuing a career in sales. Chloe’s favorite things to do are cooking, being with friends and family, and traveling.
Daniel is currently attending El Toro High School. He enjoys being introduced to new mathematical concepts. He wants to major in electrical engineering in college. His favorite things to do are playing soccer and making new friends.
Hewey is a biology major at UC Irvine. Besides enjoying his work with kids at Mathnasium, he is a Youth Leader at his church, St. John Neumann. His hobbies include hiking, water polo, and basketball.
David is a student at El Toro High School. He loves to learn new math concepts and teaching math. One of his favorite hobbies is playing soccer.
Nikole is currently attending UC Irvine and majoring in Biomedical Engineering. After completing her undergraduate degree, she plans on attending graduate school in engineering. In her free time, she enjoys going to the beach, museums, or new restaurants.
