At Mathnasium, we help kids understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them. Children who consistently attend sessions at our learning centers enjoy a transformative learning experience and make huge strides in the classroom.
Attitude: When math makes sense, kids develop a more positive attitude toward math.
Understanding: Mathnasium teaches for understanding, giving students the ability to succeed in any math environment. As Larry Martinek, Mathnasium’s Chief Instructional Officer notes, “It's pretty easy to forget things you memorize and near impossible to forget things you understand."
School Progress: When kids learn math in a way that they truly understand, they achieve greater success in the classroom.

"I'm sure Daniel told you that his math grade went from a D- 2nd term to a B 3rd term, since he started working with you. What an improvement! Not only that, but his grades in other classes improved also. When we first started Mathnasium, I was sure he would hate it, but I was wrong -- he really enjoys it. Special thanks to you and Kassidy for all the help you've given him!"
Our daughter was just entering the fourth grade at the time. The State of Utah had just started using Core Curriculum as well. It seemed like she did not understand a single thing about math any longer. Her teacher and I were both amazed by the progress that she made. She started to understand and advance very quickly. She had basically not completed any of her math for the year for the first two months while we stopped and tried to get her current, and then in the end she completed 100% of the curriculum over a month before the school year ended. She always enjoyed going and interacting with the staff. She was excited to earn rewards too.
I just wanted to let you know that my son Justin has had a great experience with your company. He loves the instructor you selected and has been very efficient in keeping up with his pre-calc online class. We both really appreciate the help you have given him. Thank you!
Thanks for a wonderful two weeks. Already Olivia?s confidence is growing. Over dinner tonight she exclaimed that she only missed one on today?s math homework. A feat NEVER accomplished in the past two years! Yesterday she said. ?My tutor today was so good she explained it so well,?? I wondered why I had been struggling so much with the concept!? Thanks see you next week.
By the way, I am more than willing to tell everyone how wonderful your place is. Taylor has gone from an F in a math to a C. We are celebrating tonight at DQ. LOVE Mathnasiam!!
