Meet the Team at Mathnasium of Lexington

I have lived in Lexington for 28 years and my children attended and graduated from Lexington 1 school district. As a parent, you want the best for our children and see every day how important math is to their success. No matter what field our students go into, math is still an important part. I graduated from Clemson University with a BS in Industrial Engineering. Over the past 28 years, I have spent time in the manufacturing environment and banking as a project manager and in the quality department. I also had the opportunity to work with Lexington Life Magazine on special projects and in sales. During this time, I have also volunteered in our schools in the PTA and SIC along with Mt. Horeb UMC applying my engineering skills. I developed a love for working with children and want to show them that math can be fun. I am very proud of the Mathnasium program and watching the children succeed. My favorite contribution is being able to give them real world examples of where they will use math and the importance of being comfortable with "math language."
