You Always Know What Your Child is Doing at Mathnasium of Littleton

Jul 25, 2016 | Littleton

When you pick your kids up from school, do you ever ask them what they did or what they learned? If your kids are anything like most children they will probably answer that things went “fine” and they learned “nothing.”  It’s a frustrating conversation happening all over the world. At Mathnasium of Littleton we don’t want that to happen when you pick your child up from our center.

You Get a Brief Progress Report Every Time Your Child Attends Mathnasium
Mathnasium has a communication system, called the “student tracker” to ensure you always know what your children are learning and how they are progressing. When students walk through our doors, they grab their personalized binder off of the shelf and check in with an instructor. As the children work on their personalized learning plans, the instructors write quick comments about their attentiveness, concepts covered, and any difficulties or successes. When they check out, instructor enters the comments into the computer system. These comments form the basis of the student tracker which you can access from your email.

The Student Tracker Makes Conversation with your Child a Breeze
When you pick up your child from Mathnasium you can ask informed questions. Instead of asking, “What did you learn today?”  you can say, “It looks like you focused on learning rounding with decimals. That’s great. Tell me about the Mathnasium method for rounding with decimals.” You’ll be amazed at how a little information really opens the doors to communication.
