Andrew was born in San Diego and moved to LA to pursue a career in computer animation along with a teaching credential which is what landed him here at Mathnasium. Andrew's passion for teaching has been a very natural one and his journey to a math teacher was never one he perceived happening. Andrew struggled with math most of his grade school years and didn't learn how be good at it until high school when a teacher helped it all make sense. Math builds on itself and it grows with you as you get older, like you, its a reflection of where you came and where you can go from here! When Andrew isn't teaching he enjoys playing video games, watching movies, and working on animations for either school or passion projects.
