Priyank Porwal

Owner & Managing Director
Priyank is the Owner and Managing Director of Mathnasium of Mill Creek, Bothell and Maple Valley. He is currently an Engineering Manager in Google Cloud and has previously worked at Salesforce and Microsoft, with almost two decades of software engineering and management experience. He has done MS in Computer Science from UNC Chapel Hill and Bachelor’s of Computer Science from IIT Kanpur, India; was also a state-level Math Olympiad winner during high-school. He strongly believes that math is essential to everyday life and agrees wholeheartedly with Mathnasium's focus on Number Sense.

Daniel

Lead Instructor
Daniel was born and raised in Snohomish, Washington. He completed his BS in Mechanical Engineering and Minor in Mathematics at the University of Washington in June 2021. Daniel has always been passionate about math and has experience tutoring students of all ages in math, science, and music. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and playing piano and alto saxophone.

Joy

Instructor
Joy was born and raised in Washington. She is currently a student at Henry M. Jackson High School and taking Algebra 2, AP Environmental Science and AP Human Geography lasses. She loves working with kids and help them solving complex problems in an easy way. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends and plays the flute.

Swathi

Asst. Center Director
Swathi has bachelor's in Instrumentation Engineering and a master's degree in Computer Engineering from George Mason University. She believes in the Mathnasium way of learning math and in lifelong learning. She loves being a part of the kids' learning journey. She enjoys reading, writing and playing with her dog in her free time.

Amy Calip

Center Director
Amy earned a BS in Mathematics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County. She has experience working with variety of students in many different settings, from working with toddlers at a gymnastics center to teaching high schoolers Algebra II and AP Calculus BC. In her free time, you can find Amy making digital art or playing the guitar.
