Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Our tutors foster a caring, encouraging environment that helps kids thrive and learn! Read below to learn more about our talented team:
Nathan L., Instructor
Nathan is attending The Barrett's Honors College at Arizona State University studying electrical engineering. His favorite hobby is playing one of his many guitars through one of his many amps. He also enjoys playing with his cats, Wavvey and Fuzzy, and taking trips to Disneyland with his girlfriend.
Thomas L., Instructor
Thomas is currently a junior at Brophy College Preparatory. He volunteers in his spare time with National Honor Society and his church. Thomas is a Boy Scout and is currently working on his Eagle Scout project. In his down time he like to listen to records and is the President of the Brophy Vinyl Appreciation Club.
Amanda W., Instructor
Amanda is enrolled in the Honors Program at Paradise Valley Community College. In her free time she likes to swim, learn about the ocean, and play her ukulele. Her 'bucket list' trip is to travel Europe and China to see the monuments and wonders first hand. Amanda's favorite movie is 'Finding Nemo'--she really likes the ocean!
Loysi W., Instructor
Loysi is a senior in advanced Math classes (AP Calculus) at Sunnyslope High School. She participates in choirs both in and out of school. This (and her voice!) gave her the opportunity to tour Europe with the Arizona Ambassadors of Music Choir. Loysi's favorite movie? "The Sound of Music' of course!
Landon M., Instructor
Landon is currently going to school at Brophy College Preparatory. When he is not studying he likes to work with computers, play chess, and do volunteer work. One of his favorite vacations was snowboarding in Flagstaff because he learned something new while having fun. At the top of his bucket list is to visit every country in Europe.
