Greg earned his Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education at Widener University in 1993, where he was inspired by a wide array of excellent approaches to math instruction. He has diverse experience as a classroom teacher of grades 7 through 12 in both private and public school settings. Greg views Mathnasium as a remarkable model for teaching kids math. “Having been a classroom teacher, I know that in most cases teachers are doing everything they can within the constraints of their situation. But most students simply need more one-on-one instruction to excel. The Mathnasium method achieves this and much more, due to the richness and breadth of the Mathnasium curriculum. It really is the ideal adjunct for a student’s daily classroom instruction, whether the child is struggling or advanced.” Greg and his wife, Jeanne, a Ph.D. chemistry professor at Eastern University, know that early exposure to math concepts pave the way for a lifelong love of the subject. So it is no surprise that they’ve already begun “talking math” with their 8-year-old son, Bryce, and even 4-year-old Jared!
