Our specially trained math instructors will teach your child how to understand math in an individual setting; our unique approach enables us to explain concepts really well and lend a helping hand to every student. Rachel M., Center Director

Rachel joins the Paradise Valley team with the experience of having already been a Center Director in the recent past. She has a Bachelor of Science in Education and an associate degree in Culinary Arts. Rachel has worked in several schools assisting with the NCLB programs and as a behavior interventionist for K- 5th students. When not working she enjoys going on road trips to see family and friends. She loves working with kids, working with numbers, and also cooking.

Meilia B., Instructor

Meilia is currently in her senior year at Arizona State University finishing her Bachelor’s Degree in both Biochemistry and Psychology. When she is not studying she likes to practice piano, knit, cook, and eat. And one of those favorite foods is....brussel sprouts. Skydiving is on her bucket list since it's terrifying, but 'freedom is the other side of fear' (according to Will Smith).

Michael P., Instructor

Michael is a junior at Arcadia High School. He loves using Math and plans to pursue a degree in construction management when he heads to college. He plays basketball for Arcadia High School and enjoys working on cars when he has the time. 

Ben B., Instructor

Ben is currently a senior at Shadow Mountain High School. He plays on the school baseball team and also likes to play raquetballl in his spare time. One thing most people don't know about him is that he really likes cheetahs! He has skydiving on his bucket list because it looks like a lot of fun. His favorite food is bacon and food that is wrapped in bacon.

Angel A., Instructor

Angel is currently a senior at Arcadia High School and planning on attending the University of Arizona next year. He likes to spend his spare time playing sports and hanging out with friends and family. His favorite vacation was when he when to Puerto Rico where he went snorkeling and zip lining for the first time. Favorite movie? The 'Dark Knight'.

Lizzie H., Instructor

Lizzie is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a B.S. in Mathematics, with minors in Spanish and Biochemistry. On her bucket list is to attend an NBA Finals game where the Phoenix Suns are playing (we all want that!). In her free time she plays club Ultimate Frisbee, basketball, and dominate the family Scrabble game. Her favorite movie is 'A Few Good Men'.
