Jing S.

Business Owner and Center Director
Jing is the owner and center director of Mathnasium of Purcellville, opening the center following a lengthy career in computer network security and software engineering in the federal government and private sector. With a BS in Computer Science and Minor in Mathematics, Jing is deeply familiar with math concepts and computation, and the fundamental importance of mathematical knowledge in elementary and secondary education. As a parent that is highly involved in her child’s education, she is enthusiastic about enriching the community and helping children increase their mathematical competency.

Tom C.

Co-Center Director
Tom is a Center Director at Mathnasium of Purcellville, joining after a successful career across several engineering, consulting and technology companies. He served as a senior leader with Microsoft for many years, driving change and directing a variety of major corporate initiatives and transformation programs. With a BS and MS in Civil Engineering coupled with an MBA, Tom has an extensive background in mathematics that has been tested and reinforced through practical application in the business world. He is enthusiastic about working with kids using the Mathnasium Method to help teach math in a way that makes sense to them.
