Mathnasium Student Accepted to All Eight Ivy League Schools

Apr 14, 2015

We love cheering on our Mathnasium students as they achieve academic success, and we couldn't be prouder of high school senior Munira Khalif for securing acceptance to all eight Ivy League schools! Munira is a former student at Mathnasium of St. Paul, and center director Jim Nelson remembers working with Munira and her siblings.

“We can hardly take credit for her success—she is extremely bright and very driven, as well as a very polite and considerate young woman, and she attends a very academically challenging school.”

According to KARE, officials at Munira's school, Mounds Park Academy, say her "stellar" academic record and her "sky high" ACT score contributed to her admissions success.

In addition to Munira's acceptance to all eight Ivy League schools—Brown University, Columbia University, Cornell University, Dartmouth College, Harvard University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton University, and Yale University—she was also accepted to Stanford University, Georgetown University, and the University of Minnesota.

"I am humbled to even have the opportunity to choose amongst these schools because they are all incredible places to learn and grow," Khalif told KARE.

Congratulations on your well-deserved success, Munira!
