"Hi Laurie, I just wanted to share this with you. Today in school the math teacher asked a question that only Josh new the answer to out of 30 kids. Josh was just beaming with happiness because this had never been the case before in math. You also have given Josh the gift of self confidence which he had been lacking. Josh went on to tell me that every thing they are learning now he already knows and he is way ahead of the class. I don't ever remember Josh being this happy before about school. For the first time ever he had students coming up to him to learn how to do some of the problems."
"Laurie and Bill:

While I am normally the one receiving updates from you on Brian’s math progress, I thought I would take a minute to give you on update on the results we have seen after our first full year with Mathnasium. Starting in the 5th grade, we found Brian struggling more and more with math. We had tried using an elementary school teacher as a private tutor, however, after working with him two hours a week in our home for several months we saw no discernable results. At the end of 6th grade, his counselor recommended your new business to us to try and help him over the summer. A year later, Brian has gone from being a C student in math to an A-/B+ student in math. Brian’s ADHD issues have long presented struggles in working through complex problems and the extra practice and attention he gets at Mathnasium really helps to simply things for him. For the first time in several years, he has stopped struggling with math homework and has demonstrated strong test scores.

Thank you for curing the “math anxiety” in our home."
"Wow.....this is by far the most in depth analysis I have seen from a support program like this. Looks like you are getting what you paid for. There are certainly holes in her background, some from previous years, and others from this year. I am certainly frustrated as I have worked with Natalie on many of those topics. I am happy however, that she seems open to getting the help. I simply cannot provide the one-on-one attention that they will be able to with her at the center. We use the tutoring and after school to fill the gaps from recent classes, but based on solving linears and other basic stuff lacking, it is no wonder she is struggling with the new material."

"Hi Laurie and Bill, I have some good news to report about Stephen. On his Honors Algebra midterm assessment, he earned an “A+”. His score was 106 out of 108 points. He was so proud and happy. It was great to see him celebrating a success. He also recently received and “A” on the Chapter 5 Test and an “A” on the Chapter 6 Quiz. He also had a story problem quiz recently that he got a 76% on, but he said he understands the mistakes he made and learned from them.

Thank you so much for helping Stephen at Mathnasium. I think it made all the difference in the world in helping him to reinforce what was being taught at school. As you recall, I enrolled all three of my boys in your summer program. The first quarter, Stephen got a “C” in Honors Algebra. Considering he skipped Pre-Algebra and didn’t have those skills, that was a decent grade. However, to continue in the honors math classes in the Troy School District, we know he needs to maintain a “B” average. With the confidence he is gaining by attending Mathnasium, I think he is going to be fine.

Thanks again for all your help,
Dawn"
"Dear Bill,
We wanted to take this time to let you know that we are very happy with your services offered through Mathnasium. Katie's grades have improved so much that she has received two 100%'s on the last two tests! Now she has more confidence in herself to be able to learn the PDM math, and apply her knowledge with her course at school. Katie is the type of student that once she understands the methods taught, she then is able to remember and use it each time. Your center has provided her with teaching methods that have helped her...to us that is the most important.

Math can be very frustrating for anyone, and the higher the maths are they only get more difficult. Katie being a senior this year needs her PDM math to apply into the Canadian Universities....she obviously wants the best grade possible to support a high G.P.A. We understand as parents that when grades slip so does the G.P.A. Katie has been accepted at 4 U.S. colleges so far, and her grades and G.P.A. have to stay in their highest form. We are confident now that they will. She wrote her PDM exam and found it to be decent, and she felt the confidence while doing it. Without your help she would have been frustrated, and in the panic mode.

Your center is a great learning place for anyone who needs help with their math. Thanks to all your great tutors that have helped Katie. I have since past your number onto another family, because we believe in your work!

Thank you, Sally"
