Our Team

Lavanya holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and is working towards a Master’s Degree in Computer Science with a minor in Math from Texas State University in San Marcos. She has worked for Motorola as a software engineer, a Montessori School, and most recently has been a project manager at Pearson. Lavanya learned of Mathnasium through a friend in North Austin and was very impressed with the satisfaction she felt when teaching the Mathnasium Method. Lavanya believes Mathnasium is a perfect fit for her love of math and that no matter what career you pursue, you will need a fundamental understanding of math. Lavanya’s family is scattered around the world with her parents living in India and her siblings residing in India, Australia, New Zealand and the United States. She and her husband, Karun, have two children, Preeti and Pooja, and are excited to be offering Mathnasium to the Round Rock community.
