Our Team

Reha Modi, Center Director
I have been working in education since 2000. In addition to teaching in public and charter schools, I am experienced in private tutoring as well as Sylvan tutoring. My experiences in education range from preschool and elementary school to high school and college. Most recently, I was employed as a 4th grade teacher in the Los Angeles area. I earned my B.A. from UCLA and my multiple subject credentials as well as a Masters in Education from UCSB. As the center director, my goal is to make math accessible to everyone. I believe that everyone can not only do math, but everyone can be successful at math. Math is everywhere, in everything that we do.
Sarah Samandary, Instructor
My name is Sarah Samandary. I graduated from UCLA in 2009 with a degree in Microbiology, Immunology, and Molecular Genetics. I have been teaching for Mathnasium since September 2010. I started as a teacher for the Home School Program so I am intimately familiar with the Mathnasium curriculum. I started tutoring 11 years ago at a young age through the Beverly Hills Library peer tutoring program. I have been privately tutoring in both math and science for the past 8 years. I have experience tutoring biology, chemistry, physics, and all levels of math from pre-school to calculus. In addition to my tutoring experience, I have three years of classroom teaching experience. As an undergraduate, I taught a bimonthly Health Education Class at the University of California, Irvine. Since October 2010, I have been teaching Organic Chemistry for the Princeton Review. In my spare time, I volunteer in the Woman's Health Department at the Venice Family Clinic. I hope to start Medical School in the Fall of 2012.
Brady O’Bryan, Instructor
I am a 2011 graduate of UCLA with a major in Pure Math. I have loved math my whole life; I have always had so much fun with it. In addition to being an instructor at Mathnasium of Santa Monica, I also coach the UCLA Triathlon team and race as a professional triathlete in competitions across the nation. In both math and triathlon you have to have a great passion for challenging yourself. My goal at Mathnasium is to help each student learn this passion and gain the confidence needed to solve any math problem that comes their way.
Viviana M. McIntyre, Instructor
My name is Viviana M. McIntyre and I am a 22‐year‐old undergraduate student at UCLA. I have chosen to major in physics and plan to graduate in spring of 2012. I love working with children of all ages and plan to move on to a career in teaching once I graduate. On my free time, I enjoy playing various sports and video games with my husband, Johnnie J. McIntyre. I love running and working out and my favorite video game is Gears of War 3.
Cameron Sheth, Instructor
Hi! I'm Cameron! I recently graduated from UC Santa Barbara with a B.S. in Microbiology and will be applying to Medical School over the next year. Math was both my best and favorite subject throughout grade school. I began tutoring during college physics, teaching friends strategies for problem solving. Although I spend most of my off time studying, I have hobbies too! I play guitar, bass and drums, and also love running.
