Avoid summer brain drain at Mathnasium! Our summer programs give students an extra boost for the school year ahead. For some students, that means a good, solid review of previous material. Others benefit from previewing upcoming concepts. Most students will get some of both.
Parents can choose from two different membership options in summer. Our summer only membership, called the Summer Pass, is available in 12, 18, or 24 scheduled visits. With this option, you pick the days you want your student to attend, making it easier to plan around summer vacations. Our regular Mathnasium Membership is always available in summer.
Students in all of our Mathnasium programs work on a customized learning plan; each plan is tailored according to the student’s specific learning needs. The session is balanced between introducing new skills and working out problem solving skills and number sense.
Four one-hour sessions of games are offered weekly during the summer, free of charge, to currently enrolled Mathnasium members. These sessions are devoted entirely to logic, geometry, and number sense.
Our Traditional Mathnasium Membership helps elementary, middle and high school students to fill in gaps, build a strong mathematical foundation, and develop mathematical fluency to provide them with the skills and self-confidence necessary for a lifetime of success.
Through instruction using our own proprietary curriculum, we assess and enrich mathematical learning for each student to address specific knowledge gaps from prior math topics and previous school years. Depending the student's present mathematical knowledge, we rebuild and then advance his or her mathematical foundation to provide the skills and self-confidence needed to consistently succeed.
Simple pricing allows you to come to Mathnasium at a very affordable membership rate for grades 1 - 8 and a slightly higher rate for High School.
Homework assistance up to half the time students are in the center is also included in this program.
Our Homework Help Membership provides convenient, professional assistance with tonight's homework, tomorrow's test and next week's exam for high school students who are studying Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, or Calculus and who are already proficient with mathematics through Algebra I.
In contrast to the foundational and skills-based emphasis of our traditional Mathnasium membership, our Homework Help membership assumes the student has a solid foundation in algebraic math and is seeking only immediate and regular academic support to do his/her very best in high school.
Mathnasium offers private tutoring in our center for high school and college students who need help with their current math class (e.g Algebra II, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Math Analysis, Calculus, College Algebra, etc) or any student who prefers to be tutored only with school-work with a dedicated instructor.
Appointments are set up for when the center is closed for normal business hours. Call us to find out more.
