I signed her up at Mathnasium of Skokie and not only did she pass, she finished the semester with a high B. Our son Tyler was struggling in 8th grade math but excelling in all of his other classes. As parents we were concerned that he was not grasping and understanding this particular subject. That's when we enrolled him in Mathnasium in Skokie. The tutors were exceptional and very knowledgeable. They did not demoralize him when he made mistakes and encouraged him when challenged. Their approach to teaching was able to help him overcome the anxiety he often experienced when faced with an unfamiliar math problem. Thank you for helping my nine year old son, Max, succeed in math. When Max finished third grade, he was struggling with math and had lost his confidence. Since he has been attending Mathnasium, his attitude towards math has totally changed. He now enjoys being challenged by math. The environment at the center with Sammy and Ben makes math "cool" and fun. In just a short time, Max has gone from struggling with his times tables to learning long division. Dear the entire Mathnasium of Skokie staff, When we decided to send our daughter, Blimi, to Mathnasium, we were not sure what to expect. We knew she needed help with her math, and we were willing to try it out. Six months later, not only has Blimi caught up to her class in math, but she now has a self confidence in all aspects of her academic and social life. Dear Berish: I want to let you know how much my husband and I appreciate the fine work that Mathnasium has done with our grandson, Jonathan. In his first six months with you he has really stabilized and improved his math skills, filling in some of the earlier "holes" in math understanding and proceeding to his current grade level. An eighth grader, it has helped his self esteem to see accomplishments rather than failures. Response from a teacher written on one of our student's report cards: Laura arrives at the school daily with a positive attitude and eager to learn. While she has met standards across curriculum, her math skills have shown marked improvement.
