Janet Hammons

Instructor
Janet has been teaching Math in one capacity or another for over 40 years. She earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Mississippi College, and began her career as a High School Math teacher in Vicksburg, MS. Janet has tutored high-level Math as a substitute teacher and as a College Adjunct Professor. Janet credits her High School Algebra teacher with “triggering” a deep love of Math. Janet and her husband enjoy Kayaking and Hiking when not helping our Mathnasium students. Janet relishes the opportunity to share her enthusiasm for learning with our students

Bradley Sohn

Lead Instructor
Bradley is a teacher at St. Augustine High School and has taught Algebra 2, Geometry, Algebra 1, AICE Thinking Skills, and Liberal Arts Math. Bradley graduated from Flagler College with a degree in Social Science Education. Our high school enrollees seeking help with “High Level” math and SAT prep, really value Bradley’s knowledge and extraordinary teaching style. Bradley strives to make sure that his students leave his classroom with a “curiosity” of mathematics and the world.

Christina Sohn

Lead Instructor
Christina is a teacher at St. Augustine High School in the Exceptional Student Education program. She helps students with disabilities acquire skills in Reading, Math, and Academic Skills, such as organization and self-advocacy. She graduated from Flagler College with a Bachelor's in Education for the Deaf/Hard of Hearing and Elementary Education. She believes that all students are capable of learning and strives to inspire in her student's curiosity and passion for life

Koryn Keen

Lead Instructor
Koryn graduated from Bartram Trail High School and is starting as a student at the University of North Florida earning her major in nursing. She enjoys learning new things and teaching what she knows to others. In her free time she likes to draw and create jewelry and keychains out of wire.

Lucy Murray

Instructor
Originally from Massachusetts, Lucy obtained a Masters of Science in Business Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She later moved to Colorado where she completed a Masters in Taxation at the University of Denver and became a Certified Public Accountant. Throughout her career, she has worked as a consultant in marketing research, public accounting and employee benefits firms. Lucy moved to Florida where she has volunteered as a mentor through the Take Stock in Children program. She started tutoring math during the pandemic and is passionate about helping students gain the confidence and math skills they need to succeed in school and beyond.

Aadithyaa Vishequ

Lead Instructor
Aadithyaa Vishegu is a senior at Allen D. Nease High School. Currently ranked 5th in his class, he will not only graduate with his high school diploma, but also his International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma. By graduation, he will have taken 23 college level courses, 4 of which are math courses. He has scored a 5 on AP Statistics and AP Calculus AB, and plans to take AP Calculus BC and IB Analysis and Approaches 3 in senior year. Recognized nationally for his app development and interests in music, Aadithyaa hopes to pursue a career within the field of computer science and either business or medicine.

Krish Pandit

Instrctor
I am Krish Pandit and I am a senior at creekside high school, I love teaching math to others. I got a 5 on the ap calculus ab exam and did 3 math courses in high school in 1 year. These courses were Algebra 2, geometry, and pre-calculus. I scored well in all of them too. I also was part of the robotics club in my school and taught tennis to kids in my neighborhood for free. I am in the engineering academy in school, and my engineering team in my school and I worked on a project innovation project where we created a pen that has multiple colors that can be used at one time. Last summer I enrolled in a 1-week internet of things camp that increased my understanding of programming and software basics. So far I have a 4.2 GPA and plan to major in engineering, hopefully electrical.

Pryanna Pradhan

Instructor
Pryanna is a senior in IB at Nease High School. She is taking higher-level IB math, after finishing AP Calculus AB her junior year. She has participated in various math competitions, like MathCounts and district-wide competitions. She is the treasurer of Mu Alpha Theta, the math club, where she strives to spread passion for math throughout the school. She hopes to encourage more kids to take an interest in STEM, taking action by organizing a free STEM camp for kids and teaching at a school in Nepal.

Teerath Sital

Lead Instructor
Terrath is a senior at Tocoi Creek High School. She is currently participating in the Dual Enrollment program. Teerath is currently deciding between UCF and UF and wishes to receive her degree in nursing. She loves working with children and teaching them everything she knows about math.

Niko

Jones
My name is Niko Jones, I’m a junior at tocoi creek high school. Math can be tough, but effectively teaching it can be harder, I aim to help students understand math well so they may succeed in whatever they do. I’m a very patient individual and have no problem explaining to a student how to do a problem and help them with it!
